Athlete Alexandra Emilianov became double Under 20 champion at the 2018 Balkan Indoor Championships held in Istanbul. She emerged victorious in weight throw and discus throw, IPN reports.
In discus throw, Emilianov achieved the result of 58.26 meters, which is by almost 8 meters higher than the score of the representative of the host country Ozlem Becerek.
Alina Andritski ranked third in hammer throw, Alexei Oleinic finished fourth in javelin throw, while Silvia Rotari came in fifth in the 400 m race. In July, Andritski and Emilianov will compete in the IAAF World U20 Championships in Finland.
