Alexandr Pînzari has been appointed deputy director of the National Anticorruption Center following a vote in Parliament on Thursday.
Lieutenant-Colonel Alexandr Pînzari has served in different capacities at the Center since 2016 and his previous position was head of Directorate North. Alexandr Pînzari has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in law and previously worked at the Ministry of the Interior.
Alexandr Pînzari’s term as deputy director will be for the remaining term of the incumbent director.
According to law, the director of the National Anticorruption Center is assisted by two deputies, who are appointed by Parliament on the proposal of the director.
