The Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot (ATP #41) has advanced to the semifinals of the ATP tournament Los Cabos Open in Mexico, IPN reports.
Albot scored a two-set victory against Australia’s Thanasi Kokkinakis (#191), 6-3, 6-3. In the penultimate act, Albot will face the American Taylor Fritz (#28), who prevailed past Italy’s Fabio Fognini, the man initially tipped to win the tournament.
Radu Albot has one ATP tournament trophy under his belt, after emerging victorious in the Delray Beach Open (USA) this past February.
