A spectacular air show will be held at the Chisinau International Airport on September 22 on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the creation of the Civil Aviation in the Republic of Moldova. The visitors could see a display of aerobatics performed by those from the Baltic Bees of Latvia and the Air-Club of Romania and a show put on by world indoor skydiving champions and, for the first time, could test the aerodynamic tunnel, IPN reports.
According to the organizers, those who are fond of planes could see civil aircraft and aeronautical equipment. Sports parachutists will also stage an aerobatic display and parachute jumps. Special areas with playgrounds and other recreational activities will be laid out for the small ones.
The winner of the photo contest launched by Avia Invest on Facebook on September 11 will be announced on September 22. The top prize is a one-week vacation for two persons in Dubai and a visit to the Aqua Park of Atlantis Hotel. Two return tickets to Paris will be offered for the second place and two return tickets to Florencia for the third place.
The final of the contest Stewardess of the Year will be held the same day. At the preselection stage, the participants told about the job that motivates them daily to be the best and to give the necessary attention to passengers. The best stewardess will win a seven-day vacation to Tenerife for two persons.
The show will end with a concert by 3 Sud Est, Zdob și Zdub, Anastasia Lazariuc and other national stars. The event starts at the Old Airport at 10am. Entrance is free of charge.
