PDM leader Marian Lupu says he possesses information that some AIE colleagues form local coalitions with the opposition. The issue was discussed on Saturday by the Democratic Party's National Political Council, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Our colleagues from several districts are worried about changes and moves that come in contradiction with the norms we apply for cohabitation within the Alliance for European Integration. Our worried colleagues told us that in some districts, alliances are made with the opposition”, Marian Lupu told the press. According to the PDM president, the issue will be discussed at the next meeting of the AIE Council. “At central level, we talk about common actions, but at local level the opposite happens. We don’t accept such situations because these things are done behind our backs, without being discussed in the Council or in the Alliance. Such practices hardly strengthen the alliance and make it more fragile”, said Marian Lupu. In another development, the PDM National Political Council elected eight vice presidents of the Party: Valentina Buliga, Andrian Candu, Igor Corman, Pavel Filip, Marcel Raducan, Valeriu Lazar, Valentina Stratan and Oleg Tulea. The party's president and senior vice president were elected by the Party's convention in June.
