After 100 days of the appointment of the Government led by Prime Minister Ion Chicu, the schemes of fraud that were suspended for a period were resumed in Moldova, consider ex-minister of finance Veaceslav Negruța, ex-chief of the Border Police Rosian Vasiloi, and the president of the Metal Employers Association Valentin Eșanu, IPN reports.

Rosian Vasiloi noted that he saw no developments during the 100-day period. Nothing new happened and only the projects that are supported by the international partners were continued.

“A part of the persons were reinstated in posts. Those who went on parental leave after December 5, when I left the system, returned. Some transferred from the north to the west, while others transferred from the west to the north. Some named close persons to key posts,” Rosian Vasiloi stated in the talk show “Shadow Cabinet” on Jurnal TV channel.

For his part, Valentin Eșanu said the monopoly at the scrap metal company “Metalferos” returned after being eliminated for a month only.

“A month ago, we were invited by Prime Minister Ion Chicu to discuss problems related to business, problems faced in the sector. The press affiliated to the Socialists came and filmed and photographed us. The meeting ended with this and it seemed to be productive. Nothing changed. The schemes are restored and are strengthened. Those who served the PDM now joined the Socialists. The police officers who covered different schemes were reinstated and even advanced,” stated Valentin Eșanu.

Transparency International Moldova expert Veaceslav Negruța said that after the PSRM took over premiership, things in the country changed and not to the better.

“The changes that occurred last June related to de-monopolization, de-oligarchization during the last 100 days were annihilated and the inverse process started. They managed to isolate the Republic of Moldova, if we speak about the foreign dialogue. We were isolated during these 100 days and not only as regards the financial aspect. As a result, we have a new coordinator of the schemes employed before June 2019 in the person of the President,” stated Veaceslav Negruța.

As to the resumption of the schemes at “Metalferos”, Valentin Eșanu said the money that is stolen now there reaches the pockets of the PSRM and PDM.

“The monopoly at “Metalferos” was removed for a month only and now this was restored. They work through phantom companies managed by Vladimir Andronachi, Nicolae Pelin and Sergei Catana. In Parliament, there is the PDM-PSRM coalition. To govern, one needs money, needs to maintain parties. The money made at “Metalferos” is used to pay an army of former police officers who unofficially follow people,” stated Valentin Eșanu.

As regards the privatization of “Metalferos”, Veaceslav Negruță said no investor will acquire this company if this does not enjoy a monopoly. In this case, not the business, but the right to have a monopoly is bought.
