The leader of the political party Pro Moldova Andrian Candu said the incumbent President of Moldova Igor Dodon does not deserve to be reelected for another four-year term as he committed a number of illegalities and abuses while in office, IPN reports.
“When I say illegalities or abuses, I refer to the non-observance of the law and everything he is trying to do now: to rig the presidential elections through the Russian Federation, to use the vote in Transnistria and we will also probably have abuses in terms of financing,” MP Andria Candu stated in the talk show “Black Box” on TV8 channel.
The ex-Parliament Speaker noted that when Igor Dodon leaves the presidency, discrediting information about his work during the past four years will most probably appear.
“I’m sure that when he leaves the post, a lot of revelations will be made. He now controls a lot of institutions and, having these at his beck and call, it is very hard to provide evidence to prove particular things. When the President is replaced, we will definitely learn a lot yet,” stated Andrian Candu.
He noted that as he became part of the parliamentary opposition, he and the group of which he forms part entered a direct confrontation with Igor Dodon.
