Additional vehicles on interurban bus routes

During the winter holidays, beginning on December 29, the interurban passenger bus routes will be supplemented with more vehicles. General director of the “Gari si Statii Auto” state enterprise Oleg Platonov told Info-Prim Neo that the schedule of the additional buses will be determined by the passengers’ requests. The largest flows of passengers are usually towards Bender, Tiraspol, Stefan-Voda, Causeni, Nisporeni and Orhei. “During the holidays, we run more trips in the required directions. We have a centralized system that shows us the destinations towards which the most tickets are purchased. We can run even 3 or 4 additional trips”, said Platonov. The experience of previous years shows that in this period the passenger flow increases by 10,000 to 15,000 people.
