The goal of the bloc ACUM’s refusal to have discussions with the Democratic Party on the formation of a government coalition could be to destabilize the situation in the Republic of Moldova, considers journalist Valeriu Reniță. According to him, the members of the bloc are afraid to play a mature political game, IPN reports.
“If we consider that everything they do leads to the scenario of snap elections, we can speak about destabilization. The slogans used by the bloc ACUM suggest that this uses any means to destabilize the situation,” the journalist stated in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel.
The journalist noted the bloc ACUM could fear the fact that what it is proposed could be accepted. “They are afraid of mature political games. They are afraid of mature discussions as they pursue another goal,” said Valeriu Reniță.
Journalist Victor Nikitush said the activity of the bloc ACUM, of the two parties that formed it, centers on the local elections that will take place this year. The bloc’s co-president Andrei Năstase, who heads the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, could run for the post of mayor of Chisinau. “I think their stubbornness derives from here – they seem to have come to power, but do not want to govern,” he stated.
According to the journalist, these two parties, the Party “Action and Solidarity” and of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, think not about the people’s interests, but about the own party interests.
The executive council of the Democratic Party on March 14 issued one more invitation to a dialogue on the formation of a parliamentary majority to the electoral bloc ACUM, saying it is ready to concede the administration of the future Government, including the post of Prime Minister. ACUM declined the second invitation as well.
