Acting President notes progress made in investigating latest serious crimes

“I ordered that the responsible bodies provide information about the investigation of the serious crimes committed in recent times, the case of Baghirov (the Russian writer accused of mounting public disorder in April 2009, e.n.) and of the multiple cases of banditry against industrial leaders in northern Moldova,” Acting President Marian Lupu said after the July 12 meeting of the Supreme Security Council, Info-Prim Neo reports. Marian Lupu also said that evident progress was made, but he cannot give more details about the investigations. He stated that these cases will be soon remitted to court.
