A number of drivers were involved in road accidents on Thursday morning due to unfavorable weather conditions. Three people were transported to the hospital, IPN reports.
Near the village of Bilicenii Noi, a 42-year-old man, driving a vehicle, skidded off the road and ran into a tree. Another accident occurred on the G90 Ungheni – Cetireni route, where a 36-year-old driver, with two minor passengers in the car, skidded off the road, stopping on the shoulder. In both cases, no one was hurt.
The passengers involved in the road accident on the road from Cîrpești were less lucky. A woman and two minors in the passenger division of the hit car were transported to the Cantemir District Hospital for medical care. The 60-year-old driver of the vehicle, who skidded off the road hitting the tree, tested negative for alcohol.
In order to move safely, the authorities urge drivers to be cautious in traffic, to reduce the speed of travel and to set off only if the vehicle is equipped with winter tires.
