ACC grants license to TV Moldova-International channel

The Audiovisual Broadcasting Council (ACC) granted on Monday, January 22, the licence for satellite broadcasting to the TV Moldova-International channel. On January16, ACC obliged “Teleradio-Moldova” Company to present the necessary documents for registration of the broadcasting licence. Then, ACC members found that the channel started to broadcast by satellite without receiving a licence in this respect. As the Council’s members say, the Company presented the necessary documents and they turned out to meet the requirements. Five out of eight ACC members have voted for issuing the licence. TV Moldova International is broadcasting by satellite as from January 1. At present, it broadcast two hours and they are rerun 12 times in 24 hours, 7 days a week. A news bulletin and certain programmes are televised during this two-hour broadcasting.
