Since the start of the heating season in the municipality of Chisinau, about 20 blocks, kindergartens, hospitals and business entities that are heated by the three heating stations of SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) have been connected to the heating system. The education institutions and health facilities were connected the first. The apartment buildings are supplied with heat if the block manager asks for the service, IPN reports.
The supplier noted that of the total 73 clients, there were connected 16 homes, two kindergartens, two medical institutions, a secondary school and a lyceum. Eight more apartment buildings and several hospitals and business entities will start to be supplied with heat this weekend.
To prepare the system for the heating season, the supplier washed the internal heat pipes of the blocks and checked the meters. It rehabilitated 400 meters of heart pipes and thermally insulated about 400 meters of such pipes. A new burner started to be used at the heating station in Costiujeni.
