Academia Chisinau went up to the fifth position in the National Football Division. On May 17, the students beat Milsami Orhei 2-1 in a match of the 31st stage of Moldova’s championship. The goals for Academia were scored by Alexandru Suvorov and Alexandru Dedov.
FC Costuleni climbed one spot in the rankings. The team trained by Lilian Popescu beat Nistru Otaci 2-0 and now ranks ninth. It is the fourth victory scored by FC Costuleni in the last five stages.
Dacia Chisinau took one more important step towards winning silver. The ‘yellow wolves’ easily beat Olimpia Balti 3-1.

The next matches were scheduled for May 21. Speranta plays Nistru, Sheriff - FC Costuleni, Dacia – Zimbru, FC Tiraspol – Olimpia, while Rapid – Academia.
