Dog does not eat dog
Chișinău Court of Appeal suspended the Superior Council of Magistrates ruling, by which the judge of the Supreme Court of Justice Oleg Sternioală was stripped of immunity, taking into account the argument that the CSM meeting of November 4 was illegal, considering that CSM members were dismissed from office on September 27. (Earlier, the CSM issued a reply, specifying that the decision of the Extraordinary Assembly of Judges of September 27 was void.).
Stop dallying with serious things
After the chair of PSRM Zinaida Greceanîi said that the party led by her was ready to form a new parliamentary majority with ACUM Bloc, but with another prime minister, while the ACUM Bloc MPs reiterated that they were ready to support only Maia Sandu for prime minister position, with the current set of ministers and the same reform agenda, the Socialist Party announced that they would support president Igor Dodon’s initiative regarding creating a minority government. Moreover, presidential adviser Ion Chicu, ex-minister of finance, was put forward by Igor Dodon for the position of Prime Minister.

The International Monetary Fund stands ready to support the continuation of the reform process in Republic of Moldova but is also “monitoring the situation closely to assess implications of recent developments for the IMF-supported program and the outlook for external financing.”
