Americans slap Joe the evasive of Grozești!
Michael Pompeo announced the public designation of Vlad Plahotniuc in the United States. The leaders in Chisinau commented on the decision. Also, the authorities in Romania and the UK are looking for the former Democratic leader Vladimir Plahotniuc on their territories, including under the name of Vladislav Novak.
Acceding to political commentator Roman Mihăeș, Vladimir Plahotniuc was given not only an image blow as the former Democratic leader hoped that in the U.S. he would be considered the victim of settling of accounts in Moldova and the criminal cases started against him would be considered as fabricated.
Population with complaints, MPs with love for motherland
According to Lilian Carp, the people write complaints and letters addressed to the MPs and want to know when the letter entered Parliament by accessing the MP’s section. “Regrettably, some of the letters remain without answers. We want the citizen to be able to see what each MP does and whose interests they defend in Parliament by one click,” stated the MP, presenting a legislative proposal to amend the Parliament’s regulations.

“We ask to be informed if a criminal case was started based on information furnished by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure in August 2019 about the erection of the Chisinau Arena Complex, including the exploitation, pledging or re-pledging of the lot of 59 ha located in the vicinity of the construction whose allotment remains unjustified,” reads the letter addressed by Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexandru Slusari to the PGO and NAC.

Asked by journalists after the meeting of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Alexandr Stoianoglo said the information collected during a month as part of the inspections at the two specialized prosecutor’s offices is being generalized. The situation is rather unpleasant for the prosecutor’s office and the country and for him as prosecutor general. The generalized information will be provided at the end of this week.
Socialists boast of unprecedented situation
The Party of Socialists ascertains an unprecedented historical situation in the country given that for the first time President Igor Dodon, who was elected by the direct vote of a majority of people, enjoys the support of the parliamentary majority. The party says the new political conditions offer favorable preconditions for implementing broad socioeconomic reforms.
