A work group was created to watch over the construction of the Northern Station

Ending the construction of the Northern Bus Station upgraded to European standards will contribute to the modernization of the city’s aspect and will facilitate the transportation of wares and passengers on national or international routes, declared, according to a Government’s communiqué, cited by Info-Prim Neo, the prime-minister Vasile Tarlev at a work meeting. In order to turn to good account the financial resources and to fulfil the works on a qualitative level, a monitoring group was created. Within the group will be included representatives of all the responsible structures, also specialists from the construction and transport area. The interim Mayor Vasile Ursu informed that already were finalized the designing works of the whole station with the entire necessary infrastructure. According to the drafted project, “Northern Station” will be placed on a 7 ha area and will serve nearly 850 international and interurban routes. At present, the Norethern Station serves more than 300 interurban and international routes, informs Info-Prim Neo.
