The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research allowed the Chess, Judo, Athletics, Triathlon, Mini-Football, Taekwon-do and Basketball National Federations to resume the sports competitions, but by strictly obeying the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry.
On February 6-7, the Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Moldova staged the national seniors freestyle wrestling championship, the Athletics Federation – the national seniors and juniors athletics indoor championship, the Tennis Federation – the 2021 Winter Tour competition, while the Volleyball Federation – the men’s and women’s national championship 2021.
The Ministry is also examining other applications to authorize Sports Federations to stage sports competitions.
