The General Directorate for Child Rights Protection (DGPDC) reports that 85 children under its care have adoptable status. Meanwhile, eight children are currently in the process of adoption, IPN reports.

According to the DGPDC's statistical records of adoptable children as of March 1, out of the 85 children, 38 are part of sibling groups (one group consists of four children, six groups have three children, and eight groups consist of two children each). Additionally, 22 of the adoptable minors have special needs.

Regarding children in the adoption process, three are waiting for the completion of adoption applicants’ documents, one child has been placed with adoptive parents, and four cases are currently in court for national adoption.

Adoption specialists note that the lists are updated at the beginning of each month.
