Nearly 7,000 high school and college students will have the opportunity to visit universities between March and May to explore educational offers and learn about higher education opportunities in the Republic of Moldova. These visits are part of the national campaign "Study in Moldova," launched by the Ministry of Education and Research, IPN reports.

Starting from Monday, March 3, students from various localities began participating in guided tours of university campuses. Among the first institutions visited were "Alecu Russo" University in Balti and "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" University in Cahul. High school students had the chance to familiarize themselves with the educational offers, admission programs, and tuition fees. The authorities also emphasized that these institutions have made significant investments in infrastructure to provide modern and competitive education.

The aim of the campaign is to promote studies in Moldova and encourage young people to study within the country. "We encourage high school and college graduates to stay at home, apply to educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova, and together, let’s achieve our national project – European integration," said Adriana Cazacu, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Research.

"In the past two to three years, about 350 million lei have been invested in university infrastructure, laboratories have been equipped with state-of-the-art technology, multifunctional halls have been modernized, and dormitories renovated," mentioned a representative of the Ministry of Education.

Authorities have also announced that in addition to the university visits, educational fairs will be held in 10 district centers, and university representatives will visit colleges and high schools to inform students about study opportunities in Moldova.
