Sixty-nine new school buses bought with the financial support of the Romanian Government will reach several districts of Moldova during an event that will take place on August 29.
“We have determined this week when we are going to send a part, a large part of the school buses to reach the districts of the country until September 1. This bus transmission activity will take place on August 29”, said Minister of Education Dan Perciun in a Facebook livestream.
According to the minister, the distribution by districts is to be approved. “On August 29, the districts will be invited to take the buses and put them into commission, so that on September 1 they can be used by students”, added the official.
Another 10 buses financed by the European Union through UNDP will arrive in the country closer to the end of the year.
