The Parliament’s Stranding Bureau approved the plan of ex-post evaluations of normative documents for 2023. Most of the legislative acts will be subject to ex-post impact assessment by the commission on national security, defense and public order, IPN reports.
The ex-post evaluation of the implementation of normative documents is one of the instruments for exercising parliamentary control, being a priority of the legislative body. In 2023, there will be assessed the law on identification papers of the national passport system, the law on the state secret, the law on the nationality of the Republic of Moldova, the law on the evaluation of institutional integrity, the law on data exchange and interoperability.
The public administration commission will be responsible for the ex-post impact assessment of the law on local public administration, the law on the status of the municipality of Chisinau and the law on the system of addresses.
The legal commission for appointments and immunities will assess the law on amnesty in connection with the 30th anniversary of the proclaiming of the independence of the Republic of Moldova, the commission on foreign policy and European integration – the law on the diplomatic service, the commission on human rights and interethnic relations – the law on measures and services intended for children with deviant behavior; the commission on social protection, health and family – the law on social welfare, while the commission on agriculture and food industry – the law on organic agrifood products.
Other normative documents will be subject to ex-post judicial review by the General Legal Division of the Parliament’s Secretariat.
The ex-post evaluation enables Parliament to analyze the data about the implementation of legislative acts.
