The arrest warrant against former Government of the National Bank of Moldova Dorin Drăguțanu was extended for 30 days. The decision was taken by the Ciocana branch of the Chisinau City Court, which fully accepted the prosecutors’ request, IPN reports.
The court also extended the warrant for the arrest of NBM division head Ion Ropot for 30 days and the home arrest for ex-vice governor of the NBM Emma Tăbârță for the same period.
Earlier, the court decided to investigate NBM vice governor Aureliu Cincilei outside remand detention. Vice governor Ion Sturzu is investigated under arrest.
The five are investigated in the bank fraud case.
