27 parties and social-political organisations eligible for elections

27 parties and social-political organisations will be able to participate in the general local elections which will take place on June 3. The list of the parties was published in the Friday issue of the Official Monitor of Moldova.
The following parties are allowed to participate in elections: the Democrat Party of Moldova, the Party of Communists, “Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Agrarian Party, Socialist Party, Law and Justice Party, People’s Christian Democrat Party, Professionals’ Movement “Speranta-Nadejda”, Liberal Party, Social-Liberal Party, New National Moldovan Party, Social Democrat Party, Social-political Movement “Forta Noua” (“New Force”), the Party of Socialists “Patria-Rodina”, Republican social-political Movement “Ravnopravie”, the Party of Environmentalists “Alianta Verde” (“Green Alliance”), National Romanian Party, People’s Republican Party, Republican Party, Labour Union “Patria-Rodina”, Centrist Union of Moldova, European Party, Humanist Party of Moldova, Spiritual Development Party “Moldova Unita” (“United Moldova”), Social Democracy Party, Conservative Party and the National Liberal Party.
The parties which will participate in elections have the right to delegate representatives with consultative vote to the Central Election Committee, to the councils and bureaus which registered candidates. The parties which will be registered as electoral competitors shall present to CEC the electoral signs and symbols until May 2.
The list includes the parties and social-political organisations which registered with the Ministry of Justice until March 29, 2007.
