Explosives dating from World War II were neutralized by the bomb squad of the Negrești Battalion “Codru” in Căușeni district, IPN reports.
The explosive devices were discovered by inhabitants of Plop-Știubei village in a local forest. There were identified 23 bombs and three artillery shells.
The bomb disposal technicians so far this year rendered safe 72 explosive devices all over Moldova as part of ten disposal operations.
