Some 22 million lei have been awarded by the Public Property Agency following a call for tenders. Although the 11 state-owned properties were initially valued at around 15 million, the state stood to gain after the auction, with the amount totaling around 21.6 million lei.

"We managed to sell assets worth about 22 million lei, which is more than 1 million, money brought by APP in a single day into the country's budget. Many of these lands and real estates will provide an opportunity to create new jobs, investments in infrastructure and in the country's economy," said APP Director General Roman Cojuhari.

Today's auction organized by APP is the third round of the state assets' valorization in the last two months, after a moratorium on such processes for several years, established by the legislature.

On December 3, 2024, 9 assets were auctioned, of which 2 real estate assets were disposed of, totaling about 129 million lei. And on December 24, 2024, 7 unsolicited goods were repeatedly exhibited during the first auction, and another real estate was successfully disposed of, totaling about 5 million lei.
