The turnout of voters in the municipality of Chisinau was 20.81% at midday. The average per country at that hour was 24.26%. The turnout in Chisinau’s Centru district, where the electronic register is tried, was 27.65%, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the central electoral authority. The elections in a number of districts can be considered valid. A turnout of over 25% was recorded in the districts of Basarabeasca, Briceni, Causeni, Cimslia, Criuleni, Donduseni, Drochia, Edinet, Floresti, Glodeni, Hancesti, Nisporeni, Ocnita, Orhei, Rezina, Rascani, Sangerei, Soroca, Soldanesti, Stefan Voda, Taraclia, and Telenesti. The lowest voter turnout at 12.00 was in the municipality of Balti – 17.19% and the districts of Anenii Noi – 20.32%, Ungheni – 20.36%, and Cahul – 20.95%.
