The grand final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest takes place tonight, featuring the twenty countries qualified from the first and second semi-finals, plus Sweden, as the winner of last year’s edition, and the Big 5 countries, the largest contributors to running the competition. The contest, which this year takes place in the Swedish city of Malmö, will be broadcast live from 22:00 (21:00 CEST). This year, Moldova hasn’t managed to secure a place in the final.

The finalists will perform in the following order: 1. Sweden, 2. Ukraine, 3. Germany, 4. Luxembourg, 5. Netherlands, 6. Israel, 7. Lithuania, 8. Spain, 9. Estonia, 10. Ireland, 11 .Latvia, 12. Greece, 13. United Kingdom, 14. Norway, 15. Italy, 16. Serbia, 17. Finland, 18. Portugal, 19. Armenia, 20. Cyprus, 21. Switzerland, 22. Slovenia, 23. Croatia, 24. Georgia, 25. France and 26. Austria.
Moldova’s entry in the 2024 Eurovision, Natalia Barbu with the song “In the middle”, did not qualify for the final. Our country’s best result at Eurovision was in 2017, when the band SunStroke Project won 3rd place with the song “Hey Mamma”.
