Sixteen candidates were selected out of 67 at a contest held to fill the vacant posts of notary. According to the Ministry of Justice, the 64 vacancies of notary declared vacant will not be fully filled, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry says the 16 candidates were chosen based on the score obtained in the written and oral tests. The required minimum was 20 points overall, by minimum three for each of the subjects. The posts will be later distributed by the contest commission based on the average score and the territorial choices made by the winners.
Two winners got by 24.5 points each, another two 23.5 and, respectively, 22.7 points, while 12 an average equal to 20 points or higher. The difference of one point or less was decisive for seven candidates, while the difference of two points prevented nine candidates from being chosen.
Earlier, there were nominated eight winners of the contest to change the territory of activity of notaries: by two in Balti, Hancesti and Straseni and by one in Ungheni and Anenii Noi. Now these places will be distributed to the winners of the contest to fill the vacancies of notary.
The applications for filling the vacancies of notary could be submitted to the Ministry of Justice between November 25 and December 5, 2016.
