10 vocational schools will benefit from new equipment bought with Japanese funds

Ten vocational schools of Moldova will receive new equipment made in Japan that will be purchased with a grant of about US$800,000 provided by the Government of Japan. Parliament on October 22 ratified the grant agreement between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Japan, which was signed in April, IPN reports.

The list of products that will be bought includes technical equipment for workshops, including universal kits for repairing vehicles, measuring kits, screw vises, splinting lathes, screw taps, working tables for locksmiths, metal processing machines, etc.

The beneficiary institutions include vocational schools No. 6, 9 and 10 of Chisinau, the Balti transport college and the vocational schools No. 4 and 5 of Balti and those of Cupcini village of Edinet district, of Cahul, Ungheni and Causeni.
