The Democratic Party (PDM) blackmailed both the Liberal-Democratic Party (PLDM) and the Liberal Party (PL) during the talks held last December, the PLDM’s first vice president Mihai Godea said in a TV program. “If they (the PDM) believe that they will be able to continue to behave like during the talks and to blackmail, they are wrong,” Mihai Godea said, commenting on the Democratic leader Marian Lupu’s statements that the party headed by Vlad Filat is preparing to form a coalition with the PCRM, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The talks on the formation of the alliance are over and the blackmailing is also over. All the components of the ruling alliance should focus on the implementation of the executive’s government program,” said the Liberal-Democrat. During the same program, the first vice president of the PL Ion Hadarca said that he personally has never been blackmailed, while the conflicts that arose recently are too exteriorized as all the related problems should be solved inside the government coalition. After the February 25 sitting of the legislative body, the leader of the PDM told the press that the PCRM is paving the way for destroying the Alliance for European Integration and forming a green-red alliance. Earlier the same day, the PLDM and PCRM voted together for returning a bill to the relevant commission for reexamination. According to Marian Lupu, this way the PLDM flouted the agreement on the constitution of the ruling alliance as he did not consult his partners.
