The MPs of the Party of Socialists said Natalia Gavrilița’s resignation from the post of Prime Minister is shameful and late. The failure of the Government is the failure of the whole administration and snap parliamentary elections should be held therefore. Such statements were made by representatives of the Party of Socialists’ Executive Committee in a news conference on Friday, IPN reports.
MP Vlad Batrîncea said that during 18 months the Socialists have maintained that this Government is the most nonprofessional one and it came with inefficient reforms and measures that only caused harm to the people. The Bloc of Communists and Socialists proposed a no-confidence motion, providing arguments in favor of the resignation of this, but then the parliamentary majority opposed and defended the executive. But it later anyway decided that this Cabinet should leave.
The BCS group didn’t go to consultations with President Maia Sandu for considering a candidate for premiership.
After the consultations held in the Presidential Palace, MP of the Shor Party Marina Tauber told the press that the process is mimicked. “If this candidate pays all the bills for December, January and February, we will think and can vote for this candidate,” stated the MP.
