The national Under 21 football team of Moldova tied 1-1 with the similar squad of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the qualifying round of Euro 2021, IPN reports.
The guests opened the score in the 50th minute through Beganovic, but Moldova tied in the 87th minute when Artur Crăciun drew from a penalty won by Vadim Gulchak.
”I’m very glad that the judges understood and reacted well after the match against Germany. Despite the defeat, I saw many good moments in my team’s play. I believed in them and transmitted this message to them. The match against Bosnia and Herzegovina showed that they can do more,” said Moldova manager Alexandru Guzun.
Moldova will next have two encounters against the group leaders – Germany and Belgium. Both of the matches will be played in Chisinau in October.
