“Lift Hotline” will be set in interim mayor’s office
Any resident of the capital will be able to tell directly the interim mayor Veaceslav Iordan about all the faults in the lifts, using the phone line especially set for this purpose. At the Monday’s City Hall session, Iordan ordered the secretary of the Chisinau Municipal Council Nicolae Manastarli “to prepare the hotline”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
As Iordan says, “any citizen will have the right to directly communicate with the general mayor”, while the mayor will get familiar with all the faults in the lifts signalled directly by the capital’s residents.
Iordan also requested to create a Maintenance Service, endowed with automobiles and specialists ready at any moment to repair the lifts and unblock the persons who remained in out of order lifts.
As head of dwelling-communal Division Mihai Solcan says, Chisinau has 1250 lifts that need repairs.
Iordan ordered that all the lifts in Chisinau be functional within 1.5 months.
