Leonid Oleinichenko will continue to manage the Moldova Footfall Federation. He was reelected president for the next four years by the votes of 104 of the 111 delegates at the Congress, IPN reports.

At the Congress held at the Futsal Arena FMF in Ciorescu, new members were admitted to the Executive Committee, namely Nicolae Usatyi, Yuri Bulgăreanu, Diana Bulgaru, Pavel Procudin, Sevastian Botnari and Victor Stînă.

Leonid Oleinichenko was the only candidate. Radu Rebeja wasn’t registered as a candidate because he didn’t meet the requirements, including didn’t gather the necessary number of signatures in his support.

“We will try hard to successfully implement the football development program in the Republic of Moldova. We will succeed only by concerted efforts,” stated Leonid Oleinichenko.

The 19th congress was attended by two legends of the world football – Ukrainian players Oleg Protasov and Anatoliy Demyanenko.
