International logistics center to open in Moldova
Moldova, alongside Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan, is the beneficiary of the International Logistics Centers in western CIS and Caucasus Project, financed by the European Union.
For the opening of the international logistic centre a plot was proposed in Chisinau, on the territory of the railway container platform. Soon, other plots will be considered in Pruncul and Ungheni, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Transport Agency.
The goal of the project is to determine the technical and economic fundaments of the future logistics centers. Special attention is paid to the development of public-private partnerships and the quality of services provided to customers.
The opening of international logistics centers in Moldova will ensure the high quality of the transportation services in different states, contributing thus to the development of trade, import-export operations, in the countries of the Black Sea region and Caucasus.
