The heat supplied by JSC Termoelectrica and the electricity produced by the company’s heating power plants will become cheaper. The National Agency for Energy Regulation approved the reduction in charges as a result of the steps taken by the supplier, IPN reports.
According to the Agency’s decision, the heat charge was set at 1,824 lei for one gigacalorie, excluding VAT, which represents a decrease of 314 lei or about 15% compared to the current charge.
The price for electricity produced by the district heating power plants of JSC Termoelectrica was set at 200 bani kw/hour, excluding VAT, which represents a decrease of 48 bani kw/hour or 20% compared to the price in force.
The decision enters into force on August 1.
