The second volume of adults’ poetry “Autumn Like a Song” written by Emilia Plugaru was launched online on the writer’s Facebook page on November 6. The book is intended for all the lovers of poems about nature.
Contacted by IPN, Emilia Plugaru said the new book incorporates poems on which she had worked for about ten years. She made considerable effort to gather and polish the poems. The volume contains about 50 poems devoted to seasons, in particular to autumn.
“It is a volume of poems about nature, about the feelings generated by nature. The humans cannot live outside nature and what is there in nature causes feelings to us. A raindrop, a snowflake and even the rainstorm generate feelings, sometimes very nice ones and we feel fine. When it is a storm, we feel protected inside home. This volume is not only about nature, but also about humans, how they perceive nature and what feelings this arouses,” stated Emilia Plugaru.
The volume was issued in 100 copies and is available from the bookstores Cartier, Librarius and Litera. The book’s preface is signed by literary critic Lidia Grosu.
