The seventh national beach soccer championship opens on June 1. For the first time the, the competition will take place in Chisinau, not in Vadul lui Voda.

The matches will be played at the beach in “Valea Morilor” Park. The tournament will involve six teams. In the first stage, Joker meets CS Ialoveni (10am), Gratiesti - FC Tiraspol (11am), while Real-Succes – Vadul lui Voda (12:30pm). The ceremony to open the championship will be held at midday.

“All the teams are powerful. There are no favorites. It will be an interesting championship,” secretary general of the Beach Soccer Association Iurie Bulgareanu has told IPN.

The last championship was won by Joker, which will represent Moldova at the Champions League.
