The autumn vacation for the students residing in the Transnistrian region was extended until November 15 due to the worsening of the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, IPN reports, quoting the local press.
The vocational and higher education institutions will study online during the next two weeks. The kindergartens will work as usual, but by strictly obeying the sanitary measures.
The public institutions and enterprises of all forms of ownership will ensure conditions for half of the employees to work remotely, if this does not impose the suspension of the production process.
The citizens older than 65 who are in the high-risk group are advised to reduce presence in public places to a minimum.
More than 76,500 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Moldova by now. Of these, 6,700 are in the Transnistrian region.
