About 1500 willow, poplar and catalop sapling were planted on the  Bâc river bank, near the village Bâc. Serghei Carp, SOE "Spații Verzi" director, told IPN that the area was chosen based on the State Environmental Inspectorate recommendations, that pointed out that seedlings should be planted on river banks across Moldova.

"All the sapling will grow. The pits were prepared in advance, the water tractor is loaded and is watering the saplings. All necessary actions have been taken in order to ensure that the saplings will grow into mature trees", said Serghei Carp.

According to the"Spații Verzi" director, the saplings were brought from the Hâncești Forest Company.

On National Day of Country Greening, Prime Minister Maia Sandu, Cabinet of Ministers members and State Chancellery employees planted trees in the village of Vasileni, Ialoveni district.
