About 2,500 packs of cigarettes of different brands that weren’t declared at the Leușeni customs post were found in a bus travelling on the Chisinau-Timișoara route. The cigarettes were hidden in two reservoirs of the vehicle, IPN reeports, quoting the Custioms Service of the Republic of Moldova.

The customs officers, in cooperation with inspectors-kinologists, subjected to vehicle to a thorough check and then to scanning. After analyzing the pictures, they noticed suspect objects in the lateral and front fuel reservoirs. About 2,500 packs of cigarettes of different brands were found in the reservoirs that had double walls.

According to preliminary reports, the cigarettes were to be sold in Romania. The goods were seized, while the vehicle was made unavailable.
