The revenues accumulated in the state social insurance budget in the first six months of this year totaled 22.627,2 billion lei or 52.9% of the approved annual plan. The mandatory state social insurance contributions amounted to 12.010,8 billion lei, representing 50.6 percent of the annual projections or by 16.7% more compared to the corresponding period last year, IPN reports.
The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said that other revenues came to 326.6 million lei, of which the preponderant part, 322 million lei, was the single tax collected from residents of information technology parks, which increased by 20.4% compared to the same period last year.
Transfers from the state budget amounted to 10289.7 million lei, in accordance with the financing requests.
The total expenses were executed in the amount of 21.333.6 billion lei or 49.8% of the planned annual amount. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the expenses were by 2.449,9 million lei or 13% higher.
The execution of the state social insurance budget in the first six months of 2024 ended with revenues that were by 1.293,2 billion lei higher than the expenses. The balance of funds in the CNAS accounts on July 1, 2024 was 1.293,3 billion lei.
