The Dr\u00e4ger device indicated a concentration of 2.38 mg\/l alcohol in his exhaled air &#8211; a &#8220;dangerous record,&#8221; notes the General Inspectorate of Police.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For reference, in the Republic of Moldova, a blood alcohol level higher than 0.35 mg\/l in exhaled air indicates a high degree of intoxication. According to the law, cyclists are considered vehicle operators and can be penalized if they are caught riding while intoxicated.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The number of road accidents involving bicycles and scooters is on the rise.
