This is the statement of the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who emphasizes the importance of the meeting and the cessation of the war, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It is time to put an end to the war, and Russia must take the appropriate measures. We have hope for America. We are ready, as always, to work as productively as possible,&#8221; Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned in a social media post. According to him, the Russian Federation should take concrete steps to end the war.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, <a href=\"http:\/\/&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/ipn.md\/trump-si-putin-se-intalnesc-vineri-in-alaska-pentru-discutii-despre-ucraina\/&quot;&gt;&#xEE;nt&#xE2;lnesc&lt;\/a&gt;\">will meet<\/a> on Friday in Alaska face to face, for the first time in six years. The two will discuss the prospects for ending the war in Ukraine, as well as the &#8220;enormous untapped potential&#8221; of economic relations, according to Kremlin representatives.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the period leading up to today&#8217;s summit, Donald Trump stated that he is convinced that Vladimir Putin is ready to end the war in Ukraine.
