Zimbru Chisinau will represent Moldova in the Europa League next season after securing the third placed in this year\u2019s edition of the National Division, Info-Prim Neo reports.<\/p>\n
On matchday 28, played on Friday, April 27, the Yellow Wolves defeated one of their main rivals for third place Iskra-Stal Rabnita, 1-0. Serghei Cuznetov netted the only goal of the match in the first half.<\/p>\n
Dacia Chisinau and Sheriff Tiraspol continue the title race as both teams won again. Dacia bested Milsami Ursidos Orhei 2-1, while Sheriff thrashed Olimpia Balti 6-0, with Serbian forward Alexander Pesic on song as he scored a hat-trick.<\/p>\n
The competition is intense at the bottom of the table, where 4 teams fight to avoid relegation. Bottom side FC Costuleni obtained the first victory in 2012, 1-0 against CSCA Rapid Ghidighici and can now hope to finish 10th, the last spot that will keep the team in the National Division.<\/p>\n
