\n\tThe Liberal-Democratic Party starts the negotiations based on three imperatives: the European vector, the hastening of the creation of a parliamentary majority, and transparency of the discussions with the future government partners, the party\u2019s deputy head Liliana Palihovich said in a news conference on May 16, IPN reports.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cThe PLDM has only one goal in these talks \u2013 to form a pro-European coalition. The European integration is our party\u2019s mission because the course to Europe means moving towards a better future. Secondly, the PLDM considers that the future coalition must be formed as soon as possible as the political instability has lasted for too long. Moldova needs political stability,\u201d said Liliana Palihovich.<\/p>\n
\tShe also said that the PLDM intends to hold transparent discussions with the other parties so that the people know how this process goes.<\/p>\n
\tPalihovich informed that the leader of the PLDM Vlad Filat already had meetings with the chairman of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu, the leader of the Liberal parliamentary group Ion Hadarca and the unaffiliated MPs and agreed to open discussions so as to form a government coalition.<\/p>\n
\tThe PLDM made public a draft political agreement on the formation of a government coalition. Earlier, Vlad Filat said the PLDM will negotiate with the Democrats and Ion Hadarca\u2019s Liberals as well as the independent lawmakers. The Liberals led by Mihai Ghimpu weren\u2019t invited to the talks. The Communists and the Socialist announced that they will not vote for a future Government led by the Liberal-Democrat Iurie Leanca.<\/p>\n
