The military structures of the Transnistrian administration have reconstructed the Iasi-Chisinau operation from World War II. The event took place on the banks of the Dniester River, near the city of Tiraspol, involving military equipment, blank ammunition, and pyrotechnics. Among the guests was Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselski, IPN reports.<\/p>\n\n
The reenactment began with a military parade, during which the T-34 tank, Katyusha rocket launchers, and military trucks known as “Polutorka” were presented to the public. The column was closed by the participants in the reenactment, who played the role of “liberating soldiers.”<\/p>\n\n
The event featured singing and dancing to the tune of Katyusha, a song glorifying Soviet soldiers. In the background, the sound of “explosions” could be heard, while spectators watched a simulation of the crossing of the Dniester River and the battle with the fascists.<\/p>\n\n
The press center of the so-called Transnistrian Ministry of Internal Affairs states that students from the “Republican Cadet Corps,” members of the Military Youth Union, and employees of the SOBR “Nistru” dog training detachment participated in the reenactment.<\/p>\n\n
