In the Macedonian capital, Irina Terzi defeated Emine Bariskan and Nurana Asadli to qualify for the final of the 43 kg weight category. In the battle for the gold medal, the Moldovan athlete was beaten by Russian Raniia Rakhmanova.<\/p>\n\n
Just like Irina Terzi, Greco-Roman wrestler Ignat Meico became European vice-champion, losing to Georgian Giori Gogelashvili in the final of the 71kg category.<\/p>\n\n
In the 45 kg category, Vadim Tarelunga won the bronze medal after defeating Artem Tkachenko. Cristin Zaporojan will also compete for the bronze medal in the 65 kg category.<\/p>\n\n
