\tThe bill to amend the Broadcasting Code proposed by the MPs of the Democratic Party and the European People\u2019s Party of Moldova was readopted by Parliament in two readings on December 7, 2018. The new norms included in the Broadcasting Code are aimed at ensuring the protection of consumers of information from eventual misinformation or manipulation attempts from abroad. Another goal is not to allow media provocations aimed against the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n
\tThe law allows for the retransmission only of news, feature, military and political radio and television programs produced in the EU member states, the U.S., Canada and in the states that ratified the European Convention on Transfrontier Television.<\/p>\n
